Impact

The Sarala Bathena Foundation was started in memory of our dear Sarala, a beloved wife and cherished mother who lost her battle with cancer. It is because of her spirit and generosity that our goal is and has always been to contribute in any way possible for a better tomorrow.

CANCER RESEARCH & TREATMENT SUPPORT

Cancer is one of the leading causes of death in the world and everyone knows someone that has been affected by this disease. While scientists and doctors work on a cure, many people suffer through the physical, emotional and financial pain that is caused by this disease. Our goal is to ensure that people are able to afford the care they need and that money is not the reason why the choose to forgo the best course of action.

LOCAL COMMUNITIES

We give back to the local communities we serve in New Jersey and surrounding areas. Right in our backyard there are people who need our help our help more than ever. We are honored to have aided in the hopes for a better tomorrow.

SUPPORT IN INDIA

The Bathena Family roots are home to India and helping those living in poverty remain a top priority. Home to some of the most ancient surviving civilizations, today’s India is the world’s largest democracy and a rising economic powerhouse. But it is tackling major social, economic, and environmental issues, including a huge gap between the wealthy and those living in poverty. There is still extremely limited access to health care, nutrition, and education. We want to give everyone, especially children a chance at a brighter future.

How we work

We team up with non-profits who share a similar vision and that help the people we feel are in the greatest need. We do not give grants to individuals, but you can make an application and we can always work with your hospital.
