Kia India Private Limited, established on May 19, 2017, is Kia’s subsidiary for its operations in India. Situated in Anantapur District, Andhra Pradesh, the company operates from a vast 536-acre manufacturing facility. The plant commenced trial production in January 2019 and officially launched mass production of its inaugural model, the Kia Seltos, on July 31, 2019. With a capacity to manufacture 300,000 vehicles annually, this facility represents Kia’s significant investment and commitment to the Indian market.
